Description

Lupin is a very big dog. Obviously. He eats around 10lbs a day but does not have a high energy level and is naturally lean. He turned one in October and will continue to grow for about another year. He is good with kids and my other dog and he’s never harmed our goats, pigs, sheep or cows but I’m not sure about cats or chickens. He is not especially noisy but he doesn’t like to be tied up or contained. I had a large kennel custom built in an effort to contain him and he broke out within 30 minutes. He is pure bred and has his papers which will go to the new owner. I purchased him in Minnesota when I lived there and have since moved back to Houston. Lupin is a cold weather dog. He has to be kept cool in the summer. Research the breed, they take up a lot of space but aren’t as active as you’d expect. Rehoming cost of $2500. I’ll answer any questions you have and I’ll be selective about who he goes to because he is a really sweet dog and he deserves a loving, happy home that’s gonna be forever. He was house trained as a puppy but hasn’t been inside in about 7 months so I can’t guarantee he won’t use it inside. Cons: Digs Will eat you out of house and home Chews and destroys things you leave out Can break out of almost any enclosed structure Pros: Very gentle and sweet Nobody will have a bigger dog than you Good with kids and babies Good with livestock Will scare the pants off any intruder Doesn’t really bark Let me stress that he IS NOT a guard dog. He will lick the intruder to death! I’ve never seen him ever show any signs of aggression to anything. He’s twice as big as my Giant Schnauzer who is food aggressive and he just yields to her even though, if he wanted to, he could take her out. He’s a push over and truly a gentle giant.
