Building Together brings Palestinian and Israeli farmers together for joint projects. We are having our first gala! Please see our website to learn more about the organization www.buildingtogether.org We are raising money for a project connecting two farming communities, one Palestinian and one Israeli to make a co-branded product: date honey that is already being embraced by Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities. We will be honoring Imam Abdullah Antepli . Iman Antepli is a Fellow on Jewish-Muslim Relations at the Shalom Hartman Institute and Co-Director of the Muslim Leadership Initiative. He is on the faculty at both Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and Duke Divinity School, where from 2008–2014 he served as the university’s first Muslim chaplain, one of only a handful of full-time Muslim chaplains at U.S. colleges and universities. He was recently recognized as one of the most influential Muslims in US Higher Education by the NonProfit Times. Imam Antepli is a globally acknowledged scholar and leader of cross-religious and cross-cultural dialogue in American higher education and in non-profit world.
