Mediocre jazz pianist seeking a mediocre upright bassist, a mediocre drummer, and a mediocre saxophonist to create the jazz ensemble ~ The Mediocre Gentlemen. I'm 56 years old and play a 38 year old vintage Chickering grand piano. We probably won't gig out or make any money (unless we can find venues that already have a piano for me to play), but we'll have fun nonetheless. My vision is NOT about playing jazz standards or traditional cover tunes, but rather, focusing 100% on improvisation and composing our own spontaneous original music.
