We are currently seeking an organized and responsible maintenance manager. The ideal candidate will understand mechanical and technical work (electrical and plumbing is of particular importance), and have excellent leadership and supervisory skills. You will oversee and perform all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, directing the processes of any necessary repairs, and maintaining the overall ranch in good working order. We are in the business of guest experiences and having our property in good working order and well maintained for an attractive appeal is of the utmost importance. Job Duties and Responsibilities Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations to include grounds keeping and snow removal Ensure all machinery and tools are up to working standards Manage proactively Continue our in place preventative maintenance program and also look for ways to improve the systems Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc) Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts Oversee repairs Interview, hire, and train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures (1 other full time year round, up to 5 additional seasonal workers) Maintain an appropriate stock of replacement parts to aid in efficient repairs of items Create a work environment with safety as a high priority Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol Maintenance Manager Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance in a hotel setting Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems (plumbing and electrical a MUST) Previous managerial experience highly preferred Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities Makes safety a priority at all times
