Compensation: Every Friday. Hourly or salary after six months. 1099 or W2. Employment Type: Full time – 35 hours per week Fast growing residential rental real estate company in the Orland Park area looking for experienced maintenance worker with all around maintenance skills. At a minimum, should be able to “turn around” a recently vacated home. Typically that would mean basic drywall repair, painting, installing light fixtures, blinds and faucets. Repairing or hanging interior and exterior doors. Exterior work would include siding and gutter repair, small roof repair (on single story homes), fence repair or installation. If you have additional specific skills, such as HVAC repair or installing carpet, great. Must have reliable van or truck and basic tools. Must have phone to speak with the office on progress/problems, send/receive texts and pictures. You will initially meet with the owner or manager to discuss what needs to be done (and in how much time), then you will be working alone or with someone else to complete the job. You will be given a company Menard’s card and must turn in receipts on a weekly basis. Most work will be in the Orland Park area with an occasional service call in Braidwood/Wilmington. Monday through Friday. Weekend work only if there is an emergency (which is very seldom). Bonuses after six months. We’ve been doing this a long time. Honesty and reliability are essential.
