The day has finally come!! Join us as we unveil the newest attraction for Riviera Beach…the Urban Farm and Garden!! Food deserts are a common challenge for marginalied people. Having access to fresh foods should be available to all, regardless of zip code. The City of Riviera Beach partnered with Operation No Fold Gap to design two lots that will produce 8,000- 10,000 pounds of organic produce for its residents. The farm is housed on a lot previously occupied by the Riviera Beach Fire Department. WOW! What a change! Yu have to see the transformation This space has been built by countless volunteers all committed to the mission. Join us and our partners, The American Heart Association, No Kid Hugry and Children Servies Council of Palm Beach County as we celebrate a milestone! Enjoy free workshops, food and health screenings. Adults, children, business owners and all PBC and beyond is welcome. Social distancing will be enforced with all COVID precautions in place. Masks and hand sanitizers will be provided.
