A beginner friendly watercolor calligraphy workshop where you'll create your very own hand lettered Valentines Join Hillary, from Hilligraphy Ink, for an interactive watercolor hand lettering class where you’ll learn step-by-step watercolor and calligraphy techniques to create colorful, personalized, hand painted Valentines. Registration includes: 2 hours of personal, hands-on instruction with Hilligraphy Ink A personalized, take-home supply kit that includes everything you need to complete the workshop and continue practicing at home Light snacks & sips What we’ll practice in class: Water & brush control Warm up exercises The 8 basic strokes of calligraphy Lowercase calligraphy alphabet Connecting calligraphy letters into words Various watercolor lettering techniques- ombre, color drop, blending, etc. Supplies included in your take-home kit: Guided lettering worksheets specially curated by Hilligraphy Ink Personalized name tag 36-color watercolor pan set Watercolor paper 4 watercolor brushes Water dropper Other watercolor essentials- water cups, paper towels, pencil, eraser, ruler, etc. This workshop was created with beginners in mind. No prior lettering or watercolor experience is necessary! To allow for personal instruction, one-on-one guidance, and plenty of working space, seats are limited to 12 students. Due to the personalized nature of this workshop, refunds are not available. However, you can transfer your ticket to a future event or another person.
