The musical's Buffalo run came to an end Saturday afternoon after a 2:00 p.m. matinee. The Saturday 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. shows were all canceled because of breakthrough cases. One man was killed on New Year's Eve after he and another man were shot while inside a vehicle near the Kensington-Scajaquada Expressway split; the other victim was hospitalized in critical condition. Early on New Year's Day, two other men were killed in a shooting in the city's Kensington-Bailey neighborhood.
