The Goshen Players are holding auditions for a musical comedy cabaret that is sure to satisfy the heartiest of appetites. "What's Cooking?" is a delicious collection of vignettes and songs about everyone's favorite pastime – eating! Auditions will be held at the Old Town Hall at 2 North Street, Goshen, CT (on the rotary) on Sunday, January 16th and Tuesday, January 18th from 7 - 9 PM. This production will be directed by Joe Guttadauro with music direction by Dan Ringuette. We'll be casting a diverse adult cast of strong singers, with great comedic timing. Auditionees will be asked to read a scene, and should also prepare about a minute of an uptempo Broadway style song. Please provide piano sheet music in your key, with your selection highlighted. An accompanist will be provided. A cappella singing and recorded accompaniments are not allowed. While in Old Town Hall, auditionees will be required to wear a mask or face covering until they are seen. Proof of vaccination will be required before the first rehearsal. Come prepared to share your calendar conflicts. Appointments are not needed. "What's Cooking?" will be performed March 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th at 8 PM and March 6 and 13th at 3 PM. Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, January 23. Cast members will be required to attend all tech-week rehearsals February 27th through March 2nd.
