LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County schools will open on a 2 hour delay on Monday, Jan. 3, officials announced on Sunday evening. Many areas in the region are under a Winter Storm Warning on Monday.
Loudoun County School officials said that due to "weather uncertainty," the delay could change to a closure. Currently, administrative offices are scheduled to open on time.
Loudoun County is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory from 1 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday. Weather officials noted that residents can expect total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
