POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough Council is set to meet at noon Sunday for the 2022 reorganization meeting.
The meeting will include the swearing-in of council members Antoinette DePaolo and William Borowsky to new terms after they were re-elected by a nearly 2-to-1 margin over the Democrats challenging them.
Borowsky received 5,603 votes, and DePaolo received 5,585. Democrat Wayne Martiak received 2,328 and Derek Reichenbecher received 2,268.
In addition, Valerie Coulson is slated to be sworn in to serve a two-year unexpired term with 6,137 votes.
The meeting is set for noon Sunday at Point Pleasant Borough Hall on Bridge Avenue.
