3 Missing, Presumed Dead After Marshall Fire: Report

BOULDER, CO — After authorities said they believed all had been accounted for in the aftermath of the Marshall fire, it was reported by the Colorado Sun that three are missing, "and presumed dead." In a news conference Friday morning, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle said it was "miraculous" that no deaths had been reported. Later that night, it was reported two people were missing. And during a news conference, authorities confirmed three people are unaccounted, the Sun reported. The fire driven by near 100 MPH winds swept across, and burned, some 6,000 acres Thursday. Nearly 1,000 homes were destroyed. Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle says many parts of Louisville and Superior are going to be reopened this afternoon.
