Pittsburgh Concert Scene Set To Take Off In 2022

PITTSBURGH, PA — After nearly two years of tour postponements and darkened stages, 2022 promises to be a very active year for live music in southwestern Pennsylvania. Some of the biggest names in music will perform in and around Pittsburgh. Two stadium shows already have been announced: country superstar Kenny Chesney will play Heinz Field on June 11 and pop-rock legend Billy Joel will take the stage at PNC Park on Aug. 11. While January traditionally is a slow month for shows in the East and Midwest, the concerts begin in earnest in February and quickly will snowball.
