Description

Hi There, Anyone into ancient pedal steel country instrumentals from the 1960's? I like some of the old Tom Brumley and Lloyd Green instrumental albums. I also like some more moderns stuff by Will Van Horn and Daniel Lanois. We could also arrange more modern stuff into Pedal Steel instrumentals. I'm 39 and I am a professional musician, I mostly teach these days, as I have two little kids and a mortgage, but I am looking for a casual playing group and a chance to blow off some steam. Here's what I'm thinking. We would book the Band Cave every Monday from 6-7:30. Come up with some instrumentals and then see what happens. It'd mostly be fun to play, but I'm happy to try and gig with it for private events or whatever. Here's my background: Guitarist and Pedal Steel player for local acts like Casey James Prestwood and The Burning Angels, 5 & Dimers, Neon Moon, Cowboy Dave, Strange Americans, Patrick Dethlefs, Futurebirds. You can google my website: Jeffsguitarandsteel.com to see me play steel or just google my name: Jeff Rady
