Description
10 week old female Great Pyrenees pup, we got her as an addition to our family in hopes she’d help out our autistic daughter, but she’s terrified of her through no fault of the pup of course.
She’s super sweet and loving, she doesn’t play as rough as a regular puppy either. She’s been working on crate training and she’s been doing really well, sleeping in there through the night and only whining a little when she firsts get it but after that she’ll only whine to be let out to use the bathroom.
She’s been excellent with potty training, she goes right to the back door in order to be let out. The only times she’s had an accident is twice when we didn’t get to her fast enough.
She’s an excellent pup, she jumps a little and we’ve been working on that, she’ll have that kicked in no time. She’s very smart and would rather be praised for her good work than given a treat, but she’ll still take a treat lol
We haven’t had her for long, and she already come really far with training. But my daughter is a mess and we can’t keep this up, we were hoping she’d realize how sweet and gentle the pup was but it’s just not going to happen for her.
This is an excellent dog breed but a working breed so they like to be outside and they require a gentle leading hand because they are so smart. They bond very fiercely with their family.
There is a $150 rehoming fee, we paid $200, were not looking to make a profit here just looking to find her a good home. She’ll come with her toys and bowl, her bed and blanket, collar and leash, and the big bag of food we bought for her. She’s had her first round of shots, been wormed just as a preventative, and been given a flea bath as a preventative as well, no fleas or worms were found but it‘a just routine with a puppy.
