Did you or someone you know, perhaps a family member or friend receive a new drumkit for Christmas? Does one of your New Years Resolutions involve learning how to play the drums? My name is John Odom and I am a Professional Drumset and Percussion Teacher here in Orlando. I have been teaching the drums for over 12 years. Teaching and playing the drums is my passion and I teach students not only how to play their favorite songs. I teach all styles of music and I make the learning fun. I use a very practical approach and I break down the techniques and ideas to where even complete beginners learn how to play this complex instrument. I have been background checked and certified safe to work with children. Currently I teach at Orlando Fine Arts Academy in Lake Nona. We are a music and arts school where classes are taught for voice and most instruments, ballet and tap dancing, art and musical theater.
