#founddog: This elderly and very sweet male German Shepherd was safely caught around 5pm on 1/1/2022 at the 5500 block of Harford Road and was taken to BARCS Animal Shelter this afternoon (1/2/22.) His shelter name is “Gary” and case # is 49341904. Since he was seen for more than 8 hours walking southwards many miles away, he might be from ANYWHERE in North Baltimore or even missing from a family visiting here over the holidays. Given New Years fireworks and that he appears well cared-for, we imagine that he bolted and likely has a family who is desperate to find him. Would you please print out at least 20 of these flyers and post them in your neighborhood ASAP? (Please share the electronic version as well, though be aware that not everyone sees social media.) BARCS’ 72-hour hold time just began at 11am 1/2, and the family who lost him only has 72 hours to claim him before he becomes an adoptable dog on 1/5/22. Let’s help get this sweet old gentleman back to his home ASAP & make it the best-yet reunion of 2022 !
