Delivery Driver job description: 5 days, (Possible 6th day if interested) My delivery company is currently looking for team players to fill the position of Delivery Driver. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks (when necessary) and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide training to the right persons who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Delivery Driver responsibilities Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher Unload goods as per client specifications Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods Delivery Driver skills Clean driving record 21 and older Must possess a positive and professional attitude Background check and drug test will be preformed. Have or pass a Federal DOT physical (Will pay if you don't have one.) Valid Driver License (no CDL needed) Strong customer service skills Delivery Drivers Shifts/Hours: Positions hours are based on your speed & load for that day. I run 7 days a week, all options available for 5 days. * Salary: $48,000.00/year Paid training You will also be using the latest in mapping technology!
