Description
I want a quote on closing up the archway in the first picture by framing out a box for a door and anchoring it to the floor and the existing enclosure.
I want a door installed for privacy and the square entrance to the kitchen closed up.
See pictures. The height at the top of the arch is about 103 inches and the corner of the arch is 90 inches and the horizonal is 90 inches across. One part of the archway is carpet and one half is tile so you'll need to include that in your quote. The bottom studs will need to be anchored to the floor using tapcons and you'll probably need an angle grinder or something to cut the tile so the 2x4's lay flat. I want it drywalled up and the door, door jamb, and trim installed and painted. Also need the baseboards and quarter rounds on the finished walls. The texture is knockdown. Transition strip will be necessary. This is the only place where I want a door installed.
The kitchen entrance should be easier. It's 35 inches wide and 93 inches tall. Baseboard and quarter round to be installed and painted. Knockdown texture and painting involved as well. No door is being installed.
I will supply all the wood, nails, drywalls, materials, etc. I just want a quote for the labor. The job is in Manor, TX so keep than in mind when quoting.
I'm sorry you cannot come to the house as Covid is a growing concern.
Please send pics of work and references if you can.
Please see pictures for reference and respond with a quote based on the information provided and for the love of God, please don't respond with "still need help" or "is the position still available"
