Vortex VR is the first dedicated Virtual Reality Experience Center in Anchorage. We are a new social hangout space to come with friends and families to enjoy a whole new way of interacting with each other through technology. We host Birthday Parties, Special Events, Team Building, eSports, Field Trips and more. Vortex VR brings Virtual Reality to not just the gamer, but to the non gamer, to enjoy a completely new world of experiences that they can not achieve anywhere else in town. Job Description: 1) Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the arcade. This includes processing point of sale payments, ensuring positive guest experiences, and executing daily operating procedures and checklists. 2) Process financial transactions and liability waivers for guests making in-person reservations. 3) Become an expert with virtual reality experiences offered and teach guests how to safely use the equipment. 4) Actively work to drive sales through positive guest interactions and utilizing suggestive selling techniques. 5) Assist with parties, events, field trips and camps. 6) Serve as first-line tech support for VR and computer equipment. 7) Work periodic off-site events at conventions and expos, if required. 8) Help maintain a safe, clean and friendly environment at all times. 9) Ensure Vortex VR rules and policies are being followed.
