Sea Reach Ltd Painter We would like to fill this position in the first two weeks of January 2022 Sea Reach Ltd. is an award-winning, full service exhibit design and fabrication firm located in Sheridan, OR. Sea Reach collaborates with private and governmental agencies in the design, production, fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits and wayfinding signage. We work all over the United States, with some international projects. Our ideal candidate is polite and has a can-do attitude, can manage themselves, always looking to lend a hand, works well with others and has a sense of humor. Someone who listens well and thoughtfully follows instructions and contributes ideas about how to improve the work and products. Reliable - to work on time each day. Summary: The painter needs to be able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Experience painting with automotive paints or paints that require mixing additives. Tasks include prepping product for paint: sandblasting, sanding, some bondo patch work. This position requires that you wear a protective suit and hood inside the paint booth. Primary paint systems: automotive and polane-T (catalyzed). This position is self directed. You will be the only painter and the space is yours to maintain and improve. Responsibilities: Sandblast in booth Hand sand wood and metal prior to paint Clean products before painting Load and unload the paint booth Mix paint according to specifications (to be provided) Paint product and hardware Keep track of paint inventory Place order for paint prior to paint run - Assembly of products Meet with team to discuss projects and set up paint schedule Experience & Education: Valid driver’s license Experience with hand tools: skill saw, hammer, drill, tape measure, etc. Basic math and writing skills Experience as a painter Full-time position. General operating hours are between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
