Is this a trick question? Or do you not know it was the GOP who was in power. Soooo.....what has the GOP done for the middle class in the last 5 years. I know they increased our taxes while lowering the ones for rich people. I know they took away the payroll tax which made lower income people feel like they were getting a break but in reality they were just not deducting for social security.
