Sea Reach Ltd Shipping, Installations, Shop Support We would like to fill this position in the first two weeks of January 2022 Sea Reach Ltd. is an award-winning, full service exhibit design and fabrication firm located in Sheridan, OR. Sea Reach collaborates with private and governmental agencies in the design, production, fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits and wayfinding signage. We work all over the United States, with some international projects. Our ideal candidate is polite and has a can-do attitude, can manage themselves, always looking to lend a hand, works well with others and has a sense of humor. Someone who listens well and thoughtfully follows instructions and contributes ideas about how to improve the work and products. Reliable - to work on time each day. Summary: Needs to be able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Experience with hand tools. Tasks include packaging products to ship, building custom wood pallets and crates, accurately recording packing slips, sandblasting, sanding, assisting the painter with packing and unpacking the paint booth. Running errands into Portland - must have a valid drivers license and good driving record. Sometimes this job requires long days in the sandblast booth. This requires that you wear a protective suit and hood. Travel for installations, all expenses paid. Trips are generally 3-7 days. Responsibilities: Package products for shipping Build wood pallets and crates Sandblasting in booth Assembly of products and light fabrication Prepare packing lists, weigh shipments, and coordinate shipping Keep area clean and organized Drive company vehicles for pick-ups and drop-offs Assist with installations (construction experience required) Experience & Education: Valid driver’s license and good driving record Experience with hand tools: skill saw, hammer, drill, tape measure, etc. Math and writing skills Construction experience Full-time position. General operating hours are between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
