The church congregation I have been playing for (I think it has been 6 years) has been dwindling for some time. They decided to have church services in a much smaller room where there is no organ. Their previous music loving pastor (retired about a year before the first covid lockdown) had always kept the instruments cared for, but their present leader seems to have no interest in that, and apparently no knowledge of music. I had been substituting as organist in MA churches of various denominations before that, and had been a regular church organist in CA before moving to MA in 2000. I have directed small choirs in CA. I also teach beginning and intermediate piano lessons. If you need an organist, you can ask me to come for an interview and see if this would be a good fit.
