Dear Ladies & Gentlemen: This is a start-up, pass-the-hat opportunity for intermediate level players or better who are dead serious. I am an advanced steel player who will lead the jam. I've been making the open jam scene throughout greater NY for the last 16 years. This jam band may consist of a rotating cast of acoustic guitarists /singers, a bassist and percussionist. Songs should be simple no more than 4-6 chords. Sight reading chord charts not required, but you should be able to read chords ( C Am Dm G7 or IM VIm IIm V7 ) while listening to songs being performed. After a few jam /rehearsals I will find a pass-the-hat gig. Gigs are difficult enough to find without the added burden of substance abuse issues so, please be drug & alcohol free.
