Sponsorship opportunities for your company to consider in partnership with the CA Black Women's Collective Empowerment Conference 2022 We are excited to announce our first CA Black Women’s Collective Empowerment Conference on Jan. 28-29 at the Maya Hotel in Long Beach. The California Black Women’s Collective (CABWC) is a coalition of intergenerational Black Women who bring together a span of expertise in politics, community activism, collaboration, social justice and beyond. We have come together to stand in support of issues and priorities that are vital to elevate Black women. CABWC officially launched in February 2021 with 12 members. Today, there are more than 1,450 members. CABWC’s goal is to amplify our powerful voice and show our collective strength in the political process as we build a bench. Our focus is to: Elevate our voice, power, and participation to secure adequate representationAmplify issues and priorities that are vital to elevate Black WomenOrganize and leverage our extensive talent, influence, networks, and brilliance into areas of collective alignmentEliminate the racist and sexist attacks on Black Women and GirlsBlack Women Organized for Political Action (BWOPA), a founding member of CABWC, is a statewide organization that promote, support, and educate African American women about the political process. BWOPA TILE, a 501C3, provides programs to develop and incubate a generation of African American women leaders, so that these women are represented at local and national decision-making tables. In our continuing efforts to provide education and empowerment opportunities for Black Women leaders, the CABWC in collaboration with BWOPA, is hosting this statewide conference and are expecting 200-300 CA Black Women Leaders to attend this inaugural event. This exciting event is sponsored by Molina Healthcare, United Domestic Workers, the Hutt Group and a host of other organizations. During the conference we will discuss issues in the areas of Health Care, Housing, Education, Economic Stability and Wealth Building, Aging, Safety and Well-Being, Criminal Justice, Environment, Advocacy and Engagement, and Leadership and Political Power. In addition to the conference workshops, we will be holding a VIP reception to honor 100 California Black Women Trailblazers inducting them into the CA Black Women’s Collective’s Hall of Fame.
