Description

MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD PRESCHOOL I am a preschool teacher and I would like to open my home for families who want their children prepared and ready for kindergarten. I have been teaching for over 30 years and have great references. I have a wonderful and advanced curriculum that can be adjusted for any level of learning. I do placement testing two weeks before school starts, so make sure you register on time to hold a place. I have three different schedules to help work with families. While these are very trying times during Covid I do not require children to wear masks dependent on Idaho requirements. It is very hard for them to function during lessons. I will allow any child to wear one, but it is the parents choice. I have been vaccinated and will keep up with that because it is required for teachers and keeps the classroom safer. Children won't be allowed at school if sick or showing signs of a fever. Preschool (ages 2-3) and Pre-K (ages 3-4) M-F 9am - 12pm or 1 - 4pm (12 open spots for half day) M-F Full Day 9am - 4pm Spots open are dependent on enrollment and which schedules are filled first. Full day preschool afternoon will include: Nap time Arts and crafts ABC mouse Reading, or any additional help with school work (I will only be filling 4 open spots for full day) To be guaranteed a spot, all fees and registration packet must be turned in. I do send home homework to give children something to work on with their family and so parents can see how well their children are doing in class. Each week we work on a new unit and this will be sent home Friday. There will be additional work done in student crafted workbooks that will go home when complete. I decided on a 5/day schedule in order to have the time to work with children on projects and to complete a yearly schedule of preschool and pre-K. This enables a more complete learning program before starting kindergarten. Curriculum, water bottle, class supplies, and printing each year is: $150 I buy and supply each child with what they need for class. These supplies will go home with the children at the end of the year. Each child needs to bring snacks to share. Snack days will be split up depending on number of students in their class. Any questions, please email me Thank you and I look forward to working with you and your child.
