I posted an ad about a month ago about my neighbor moving and leaving her cat behind. Many people got upset about my ad saying that I should take the cat to an animal shelter and had Craigslist take my ad down. Well, I had my husband take her to the Animal Care Center (ACC) on Linden Blvd in Brooklyn. They told my husband that they would most likely let the cat go in the neighborhood where it’s coming from. Sure enough, just one week after, the cat was sitting on my porch with part of her left ear cut off and a huge open sore on her behind. My heart was torn seeing the condition they brought the cat to. I was only trying to find a good home for the cat when I placed the ad. Both my husband and I have bad allergies. We’re unable to keep the cat. I kept her in my garage for sometime just so that she could heal but my husband has been sneezing badly. I took craigslist users advice and it did the cat no good! It’s raining heavily out and I see her sitting on my porch! My husband said that we should stop feeding her and she will go away! I’m torn but I can’t help her. Please, if anyone genuinely loves cats, please adopt her!
