Join us to learn more about your horse's health! Have you ever worried about your horse's health? Knowing how to take vital signs such as temperature, pulse and respiration can help you and your vet when you think your horse is sick. Listening for gut sounds, knowing when your horse is dehydrated and knowing when and how to wrap your horse's legs are things that all horse owners should know. Our instructor, Gabby Potillo, earned her BA in Equine Science with a concentration in Pre-Vet at UNH. She will demonstrate each technique and give you time to practice each technique on your own horse, or you can borrow one of ours to practice on. Bring your own thermometer. Stethoscopes will be available for your use or bring your own. Limit 8 horse/handler combinations per class.
