February Break Horse Care Camp for ages 5-12 We are offering a February Break Horse Care Camp this year with options for ages 5-12. Intermediate camp is MWF from 9-3 and is for those who: Have been to a horse camp before ORHave experience in one of our lesson programs or a similar lesson program elsewhereAre ages 8-12Are interested in learning more about hands-on horse care and handlingDoes not include riding lessonsBeginner camp is Tue/Thu from 8-12am, includes one leadline group lesson per day, and is for those who: Have no or little riding and handling experienceAre ages 5-8Want to learn how to ride on a lead lineCamp will include: Helping with barn chores and tack maintenanceEquine assisted learning activities to work on communication skills, teambuilding, confidence building and empathyOther horse activities such as grooming, bathing, groundwork, and horse gamesCrafts, games and other outdoor activitiesMax of 6 riders per day at camp.Beginner camp: $180 + Eventbrite fees Intermediate Camp: $270 + Eventbrite fees Campers need to bring: Lunch (Intermediate campers only)Water bottle and other drinksSturdy boots or shoes with a 1/2 inch square heel for riding lessonsLayers of clothes dressed appropriately for the weatherRiding helmet OR we will provide a riding helmet if you do not have one*All students will be required to pass the COVID-19 Health Screening daily.* Please note that refunds must be requested one week before camp begins and a $50 processing fee will be deducted. Refunds requested less than a week before camp will transfer your camp fee to another WBF program or to another camper on the wait list if possible and a $50 processing fee will be deducted. No refunds will be given after camp starts. A camp waiver must be signed in person by a parent or legal guardian on the first day of camp. If a parent is not able to accompany the child, please let us know and we can email you the waiver form.
