Come enjoy Free Ski Day 2022 at Ponderosa State Park! Entrance is free to the public and winter access fees are waived on Free Ski Day- January 8, 2022. Pre-registration is required to participate in the free lesson and rental package portion of the event. Lessons and rental packages are offered in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the following times. Rentals are returned at the end of the lesson. Please register for the rental and lesson packages at this site. Time slots are as follows: Cross-Country Skiing*: 10 AM 11 AM 12 PM 1 PM 2 PM *Skiers may choose a lesson in classic cross-country skiing or skate style of cross-country skiing.
