Across a career for which a two decade milestone was achieved in 2013 with his twentieth CD Twenty, Bob Baldwin has proven to be one of the most ubiquitous and ingenious chameleons of Contemporary Jazz - both in his own projects and those he has endeavored upon for others. He has written and arranged for artists such as Grover Washington Jr., The Four Tops, Tom Browne, Will Downing, Howard Hewitt, Freddie Jackson, Pieces of a Dream, Bob James, Two Tons of Fun, CeCe Peniston, Gerald Albright and many other artists. While original jazz is his main focus, Baldwin's albums, like 2010's Never Can Say Goodbye: A Tribute to Michael Jackson and MelloWonder: Songs in the Key of Stevie showcase his love of R&B and pop music.
