Hello there. I am a jazz drummer looking for work. I'm 37. Have been playing professionally for 20 years. Studied with Joe Morello, Billy Martin, John VonOhlen, Joe Ong. Performed as main drummer with The Ohio State Jazz Ensemble around the world for 2 years. Performed professionally aboard Celebrity cruise lines. Expert sight reader, knowledgeable in many musical styles and song catalogs. Specialize in bop, hard bop, cool jazz, swing, and fusion. Major influences include; Tony Williams, Joe Chambers, Steve Gadd, Joe Morello, Philly Joe Jones, Elvin Jones. I play a 4-5 piece Gretsch Broadkaster with Zildjian cymbals.
