Press release from Town of Wilmington: December 31, 2021 During their evening meeting of December 13th, Wilmington's Board of Selectmen unanimously voted to make January 3rd Sean Collier Day in Town. Sean, a Wilmington native and MIT officer, tragically lost his life in the line of duty in the aftermath of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
