Bonfire Worship presents a 3-day Worship Songwriting WorkshopKickstart a Songwriting Culture in Your ChurchEach local Body of Christ has a unique voice based on what God is speaking to them through the Pastor’s messages and through the leading of the Holy Spirit, and this 3-day workshop by Nashville writers, Wayne Tester (Dove Award winner) and Esther Tester, is designed to help worship teams and individual songwriters express their unique worship for the edification of their local Body, and also to share their voice with the world for the edification of the global Body of Christ. Great practical teaching coupled with writing sessions and constructive evaluation will help you launch a songwriting culture in your church and take your congregation’s worship to the next level. All guests will participate in songwriting sessions with other guests and songs from each songwriting group will be chosen for evaluation. Suitable for songwriters of all levels, ages 18+. WHAT TO BRING:Notes from your Pastor’s most recent sermon series.Paper and pens for writing and taking notes. Something to record on (phone/recorder).Water bottle.Optional: An instrument (portable or battery operated) for writing songs on.Optional: A laptop or tablet (battery operated) to program music on.COST:$125 per solo guest or $100 per guest in a group. HOW TO GET THE GROUP DISCOUNT:There is no minumum ticket purchase for any group, i.e. a worship team, a band, etc, and no formal invitation to join a group is necessary. For instance, if you belong to a church and want to learn how to write songs uniquely for your church, then join the group! In other words, if you're part of the Body of Christ, then consider yourself invited! Obviously, you may want to ask permission before including yourself as a member of a band. LOL! To purchase your ticket as a group member, type in the name of your church, band, etc. If your group's name hasn't been created yet, create the group by simply adding the name of your church or band, etc, and then any future group members will easily be able to find your group when they purchase their tickets. Anybody can create your group! This will ensure your entire group gets the discounted price. Don't worry if you create duplicate names for your group, in the end it won't matter because your group will still get the discounted price regardless of the exact name of the group. Then when you're done with your purchase, email the event to anyone else in your group you'd like to invite. It's as easy as that! CHILD CARE:Child care is not available. Families are important to us, but because this is a training event, children and infants are not permitted in any of the sessions. Mullen and The Katinas on a record she co-produced, co-wrote and performed with her husband, Wayne, for FICM. Esther now leads worship with her husband, Wayne, as they share the talents and skills God has given them to disciple and mentor worship leaders and songwriters.
