Residential Assistant for a Group Home

Hi! We have a group home for people struggling with alcohol and substance abuse, for which, we are looking for residential assistants. We are looking for part-time, full-time, and live-in positions. The house is located at the cross streets of Broadway and 59th Ave in Phoenix. We treat our residents like family, all residents are 18+, both males and females. Live-in residential assistant: $3,000/month plus free room and board, food, and utilities Part-time weekend residential assistant: starting at $14/hr, based on experience Requirements: We are looking for someone who has a caring heart and a passion for helping others, and someone responsible and reliable. Must be coachable and flexible. Must be a people-person. We prefer someone who knows how to cook. Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record for the past three years. Experience in psychology/mental health (substance abuse issues), customer service or hospitality, as security, a caretaker, healthcare worker, or behavioral health technician is a plus. Your responsibilities: - Make sure the residents stay safe and sober and abide by house rules - Help the residents cook and clean (keep the house in order) - Remind residents to take their medications - Help residents with personal tasks (setting doctor's appointments, replacing lost IDs, ordering prescription refills, writing resumes, etc.) - Take inventory and order groceries online for delivery to the house - Take residents on outings on Saturdays in the company van (i.e. hiking, fishing, grilling out at the park, aquarium, etc.) - Take residents to church on Sundays in the company van If interested, please email over your resume.
