The RV Awning Company of Mesa is seeking to add (2) new install teams in January 2022. Our installers are the core of our business. Work independently, in the field, installing awnings onto RV's. It is really about that simple. Install teams are comprised of (2) people. An installer and a helper. Husband and Wife teams do extremely well, also do Father & Son, and Brothers. Independent solo installers are a key part of our team. We have ample helpers to assign to a solo installer. We are a growing family owned company of 10 years serving all of Arizona year round. Extensive and detailed installation training is provided. Any prior RV or Awning experience is not required. A qualified candidate for this position will have/display the following: Basic mechanical skills. Honest & Dependable. Professional appearance. Ability to be a team player. Owns a set of basic hand tools and the ability to use them to complete a task. Screw gun, wrenches, plyers, electrical tools, vice grips, box cutter etc... A positive disposition. Get er' done mentality! Physical ability to climb a latter daily & lift 50 lbs overhead. An eagerness to learn and drive a to succeed. Has good communication skills. Display the ability to talk to customers in person and on the phone. Always does quality work and produce a finished result. Takes pride in their work and appreciates a job well done. Has a valid drives license in good standing. Has dependable transportation. (work truck preferred but not required) Had no dependency of Drugs or Alcohol. We understand that everyone makes mistakes and many have a past, we are not prone making decisions on what it is that you may have done in the past, i.e. background checks. We are interested more in your honesty about where you have been, but more importantly what you want to do going forward! Install teams receive a base salary, plus commission on a per install basis. A quality install team will expect to earn $1500 - $3,500 weekly during and after training. There are several bonus that provide additional earning. This position is immediate and we are looking for quality candidates to start now. Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4p (or whenever your day is done) Some Saturday work is available.
