EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A home and a vehicle were damaged in an early morning fire in East Patchogue on New Year's Eve, Suffolk police said.
Four different agencies were called to the scene of a fifire at a Scherger Avenue at about 6:20 a.m. on Friday, and the blaze was knocked down, according to police. No one was injured, police said.
All together, two fire departments, including Hagerman and North Patchogue, as well as the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshal's office, and officers from the 5th Precinct responded to the blaze.
The fire marshal's office is working to determine the cause of the fire, police said.
