Press release from the City of Sioux Falls: December 31, 2021 Effective Monday, January 3, 2022, Sioux Area Metro will resume regular weekday service on Routes 3 and 10: Hourly service will continue on other fixed routes during weekdays due to the Sioux Area Metro driver shortage. However, all other fixed routes will require some time changes to allow for transfers. Please be sure to check all fixed route schedules. Saturday service will remain at the same service level with SAM On Demand. All routes will resume the normal schedule once the driver shortage issues are resolved. New transit route schedules for Routes 3 and 10 will be available starting noon Sunday, January 2, 2022, online at siouxfalls.org/sam, and available at the Downtown Bus Depot starting Monday, January 3, 2022.
