Man Holds Up Elmhurst Bank: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst bank was robbed Friday afternoon, with the suspect displaying a blue steel semiautomatic handgun, police said. At 3:15 p.m., the man with the gun demanded cash from a teller at Chase Bank, 163 N. York St., police said. The suspect was described as black, 40 years old, having a large build, and wearing a gray puffy jacket and a dark cap. He took an undetermined amount of cash and fled east on foot, police said.
