Description
so I decided to take off my water pump to try to replace it. the vehicle is an 07 Toyota Yaris and here is what I have already done to get the water pump off. Im so close yet so far away because I can not remove a 10mm bolt underneath the water pump to extract the water pump off of the engine.
1. drained the radiator
2. unplugged the battery(black)
3. removed the alternator
4. removed the belt
5. pulled off the water pump pulley which was (3) 10mm bolts(never want to do that again!)
6. last but not least I have removed all of the bolts that keep the water pump on except for the last one. I'm not sure if I need to put the car on a jack and go from underneath to get it off. that could work...but I was hoping to just use a swivel ratchet which I do not currently own.
for an experienced mechanic I would not be surprised if you just roll up and take it off in 1 mins. I am not an experienced mechanic but a newbie but I do have extreme experience taking apart other things involving electronics.
Im looking for an experienced mechanic with tools who can stop by and help me take the last bolt off and if you could wait and help me put the water pulley back on that would be awesome too! please text me when you are available and price
