Have your guitar set up and or have anything you need done by the best

Having your guitar set up or getting a re-fret or any other type of work you may need done can be scary, at least it has been for me, because my guitars that I have are irreplaceable to me and there all very expensive so you don’t just want to go to just any luthier because you really never know how good they are until you have the work done and if it’s gonna be done correct as well; but Pat Woodward at XPERT GUITAR WORKZ is in my book one of the best by far and not only that but his turn around time is absolutely crazy! In fact the first time I took my guitar to him, I actually thought how could the work be that good when your getting your instrument back so quickly BUT it is, in fact it’s always better then what your used to! and not only does he do incredible work but he treats you like a friend that you have known your whole life and I’ve have had him even contact me several days later to see how my guitar was playing and to see if there was anything that might still need tweaked and if I was happy with the work. Also let me just say I’m not getting anything from this but want other musicians to know who you have right in your backyard who can do anything you need and when there is someone who in my book does some of the best work I’ve ever seen and then on top of that, offers free adjustments for I know at least a year (he can let you know more) after your set up and coming from a professional guitar player, that right there is priceless because I’ve had work done before and then within a week or less, it’s back out either from the humidity and/or changes in the weather and I’ve never had a luthier like pat that will stand by his work 120% and also get it you right back in so he can reset and adjust it and get you off to your next gig! I was in Nashville for 5yrs and the gentleman who worked on my guitars there worked on some of the biggest names from Keith Urban to Taylor Swift and many more and yes he did good work but Pat does circles around him and he cares so much it’s as if he is working on his own personal instrument and he is 10x better then my guy in L.A. and when I head back home to Ventura CA in March I will still be staying with pat and will from now on because I know whatever I have done will always be far better then I could imagine and I know I’ll get it back quick so that I can have my gear for whatever gig I’m doing.
