Guitar Lessons with Jim Dofka at JK Musician's Workshop in Washington, Pa Jim currently teaches over 60 students per week. Student ages range from 7 years old to 73 years old. Beginners, Intermediate to advanced. All styles from acoustic rock to shredding metal. Jim teaches in the studio control room and incorporates many studio techniques with the lessons. Some guitarists find it grueling repeating drills, scale modes, rhythm exercises, and arpeggios. You will make great progress playing along with various drum grooves in the studio. Learn reading, theory, rhythm, ear training, composition, and song performance. Together, we make it a goal to keep your playing fresh and stay motivated. Jim has toured with many artists such as Leather Leone and has played on many releases such as Country music legend Lorrie Morgan. In 2019 *Jim has played on CDs from Bass Extraordinaire Ben Kuzay(Monstrosity, Wykkd Witch). *Jim played all of the guitar solos on the new Ironflame CD(Divebomb Records/USA - Metalworld Revords/Europe). *Jim also  played guitar on the debut Rev Jones Band CD entitled "Bakwash" The band is a power trio consisting of singer/bass player Rev Jones(Steelheart, Michael Schenker, Leslie West) drummer Jeff Martin(Racer X, Badlands, Dokken). *Jim is featured on the song Shred Or Die by Power Metal band "FRENZY" from Spain on their new album titled "Blind Justice".
