My grandpa was a grump. I do not dress like he did. I do not enjoy the same foods that he did. I am not a Christian as he was. His style and beliefs were outdated. Like many older people, he resisted change and progress. My grandpa thought a woman place was in the kitchen. He was intimidated by people of other cultures and disliked technology. I respect republicans in the same way that I respected my grandpa. Their ideas and beliefs are antiquated and stale. Their attitudes are dated. I do not agree with their stubborn limited mindset, but I respect their fears and their right to their own opinions. ======================================================================================= Progressive ideas? Progressives believe that blacks and whites are different based on the color of their skin.that is the definition of racism. I bet you a buck that your granpa does not. Progressives believe that there are 56 sexes and not two, male and female. Two is based on science and biology and 56 is based on feelings. I feel like I am a women and therefor I am. Granpa believes there are two and you believe in 56. Granpa believes in your right to your opinion and your right to express it freely. You as a progressive do not. It is not free speech if it is hate speech. We as progressives decide what is hate speech and we have the right and a duty to ban it. Granpa thought a womens place was at home raising their children with a mother and father in a commited relationship cuz that is what is best for them and society. Progressives believe children do not need a mother and father. They do not think that children need a father. 75% of black children grow up without a father in the house and the majority of the boys end up in jail but progressives are fine with this. But your Granpa is not. He knows that children and especially boys need a father figure to teach them to be men. Bottom line is that you should STFU and listen to your granpa and not your progressive BS.
