Fix my botched carpet

Hi there I ran an ad 3 weeks ago for an easy slam dunk carpet job and paid a guy named Kevin to do it. He was in and out in about 2 and a half hours because everything was ready for him with no issues. I paid him when he started the job not when he finished....I made a mistake. So did he as you can see by the pictures. He cut the carpet two inches short by one door and didn't cut the carpet behind another door. He said he would stand behind his work for 5 years however once I notified him he disappeared. No return calls no return texts, etc. It's a shame because I will have 5 or more carpet jobs this year. I am gonna have to pay someone else to fix his work. I looked closely at it and there is a 10% chance the carpet may be able to be stretched, but in the same or less time you could cut out and graft in another piece with mending tape (he took my roll with him even though we only needed 13 feet of it). I can supply another roll of the meltable mending tape. Feel free to quote me fixing Kevin's work. Please don't contact me if you don't have the tools for the job. Contact me for a quote
