Description
A property management company is seeking full-time maintenance technicians to join the team. This position involves driving to properties throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley to do work order repairs and make units ready for rent.
Position & responsibilities:
•Perform repairs in occupied apartments
•Repairing flooring
•Drywall repair
•Appliances; installing and troubleshooting
•Light plumbing- Toilet repair/replacement, garbage disposal replacement, faucet/tub spout/cartridge replacement, irrigation, caulking
•Light electrical- Light fixtures, outlets, switch replacement
•Painting (interior)
•Getting apartment units ready for rent
•Doors and locks: moulding, door repair and replacement, lock replacement
•Drive to and visit local stores, Home Depot and suppliers to purchase materials.
Requirements
•Provide and maintain own tools
•Punctual & reliable
•Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
•Must be willing to work overtime, including evenings and weekends for emergencies
•Must own a car, have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and car insurance
•Must use your cell phone for timesheets and viewing work orders
Compensation:
$17 - $20 per hour depending on experience
