The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, in collaboration with the Princeton Alumni Association of Fairfield County, will feature an a cappella concert by the Princeton University Footnotes. The event includes a tour of the Mansion’s Period Rooms at 3:00 p.m., with the performance to take place at 3:30 p.m. in the majestic Rotunda, followed by refreshments in the Billiards Room. Masks are required with proof of vaccination against COVID-19.* Founded by a group of talented young singers in 1959, the Footnotes have been bringing fresh a cappella to Princeton University and far beyond for the last sixty-two years. They are a versatile group of singers with a widely diverse repertoire – from Frank Sinatra to Taylor Swift and Phish – and have toured all over the world, including the United Kingdom and Germany in the last few years alone. They have performed alongside artists like Pat Benatar and Tim McGraw, for elementary schools and US presidents, in backyards, at baseball stadiums, and for millions during their time on NBC’s “The Sing-Off”. Their latest EP, 12 Feet Apart, was recorded entirely virtually and is currently out on all streaming platforms. *Scans of vaccination cards may be emailed to [email protected] prior to the event or presented at the door upon check-in. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Photo courtesy of Princeton University Footnotes Website: http://lockwoodmathewsmansion.com
