A celebration with Her Excellency Ambassador Maria Theofili, Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations The National Arts Club is honored to present the Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations. Her Excellency Ambassador Maria Theofili addresses the audience in celebration of International Archaeology Day, begun by the Archaeological Institute of America. The focus of Ambassador Theofili's unique presentation is the sacred island of Delos, the mythological birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Located in the Aegean Sea, this wondrous UNESCO World Heritage site has been renowned since antiquity for its overwhelming beauty, cosmopolitan character, and inspiring culture. This is an in-person event. Your health and safety are our top priorities and we are following all CDC and New York City guidance. All guests must have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Proof of vaccine (CDC card or photo, Excelsior Pass, CLEAR Health Pass, or other digital record) as well as a photo ID will be required. Masks are also required. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Doors open to the public 15 minutes before the event. Please arrive early to check in. Our coat check is limited. Please do not bring any large bags or backpacks.
