Creating a Trauma Informed Community: “What is Trauma? Trauma Symptoms & Reactions and Triggers. We will create a Trauma Informed Handbook My name is Javelin Hardy- MSW, Owner and Operator of Healing from the Heart LLC. I'm a Trauma Informed Certified Social Worker and I want to support and educate my community on creating a Trauma Informed Community. I've worked in the Social Work field the past 31 years from court, police, parole, hospitals, clinics and now in a college setting. Psychoeducation on various mental health disorders: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Depression, signs, and symptoms of suicide. We will also discuss how to work with the person who’s suffering from suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We will discuss how to support Veteran's who are having a crisis or drug induced mental health disorders. I also want to invite schools so we can be educated on how they work with school shootings, stabbings, and deaths. We will be creating a community ER handbook -policies and procedures for the Minden Community. This is a breakfast training event and Essential workers, medical/mental health clinics, hospitals, community organizations, schools and churches are invited.
