When her daughter was sentenced to 30 years in prison she began to rebuild from the ground floor. starting with her personal accounts she poured her feelings in her masterpiece Surviving the Sentence. Shortly after releasing book she opened a drug testing lab to service her community. Surviving the Sentence is the foundation for the platform she is building. Her platform is targeted towards helping parents/families through a healing process after children are incarcerated.
